With all the glorious 20oz slub of the denim that we know and love, the brand has taken three different thread types to create a more rigid version of their modern classic. This unique fabric has been woven using vintage shuttle looms at a very loose tension, which has resulted in a knotty fabric that will age and patina beautifully over time, and yield incredible contrast fades, with the beige weft yarns poking through at irregular intervals. The 926DIZR is a relaxed tapered fit with a traditional five-pocket top construction, and allows a bit more room in the thigh than normal, before tapering down to the hem. This jean is a comfortable modern fit which allows for fantastic ease of movement. Punched copper rivets, raised belt loops, heavy pocket bags, all add to the durability of this design, whilst nuanced details like vintage-inspired donut buttons, one painted red, add originality to the design. Red bar tacks, a peekaboo selvedge watch pocket, and red line selvedge all add to the evil genius that is synonymous with the ONI brand.
